We're On The Move!


I am delighted to report to you all, we are making a great deal of progress since we started just two and a half months ago! We now have a logo with a beautiful sunset view of the Naples Pier that should be familiar to all.


Our August 26 ERA Equality Day press conference and rally was a success, thanks to everyone who came out to support!


Collier NOW is the first of 6 new chapters in Florida to complete all convening chapter requirements. Paperwork? done!


Membership has grown by 53% to 32 active members, an amazing accomplishment! More people are supporting the intersectional feminist agenda and women’s equality!


Last but not least, we now have a bank account and can accept contributions online. Please consider making a contribution of $50 or more to help us purchase essential items such as a tent, table and banner for tabling events in the upcoming season? 16 days of Activism Activity - 2018

In 2012 a campaign was launched to end violence against women and girls  “Zonta Says NO”.  Zonta International campaign raise awareness of and increase actions to end violence against women and girls around the world.


The campaign features the service and advocacy actions of Zonta clubs and districts to prevent and end violence against women and girls in their local communities.  "Each year, during the 16 days of Activism against Gender Violence (25 November - 10 December)", all local clubs do an event or activity promoting the campaign.


Team Advocacy of Naples posted social media blasts across Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn 16 Days of Advocacy Against Gender-Based Violence.


Zonta Club of Naples advocates on issues related to human rights and gender equality.  Zonta districts and clubs collectively take action in support of, or in opposition to, legislation on issues affecting women and girls.  Zonta clubs monitor laws and policies and their impact on women, participates in hearings and public meetings with local politicians and administrators, and host speakers and panels to raise awareness about issues affecting women in their local communities.
