Zonta International advocates for women’s human rights and gender equality in all areas of women’s rights. ZI partners with UN agencies like UNFPA, U.S. Fund NICEF which financially support projects to empower women and girls. The projects focus on issues; health, education, equality and human rights, human trafficking etc. At the local club levels the club are functioning at one hundred percent. The club projects focus on women and girls issues. Zonta Club of Naples service committee is responsible for finding out what the needs are for the community. This committee meets monthly to discuss projects and makes recommendations to the board. The committee is to coordinate those projects approved in which all members are to participate in the activities and events.

National Rose Day – March 2022
On March 8, 2022, Zonta Club of Naples celebrated national Rose Day. Charitable organizations with like minded missions similar to Zonta were recognized through the provision of yellow roses, a flower which represents Zonta’s camaraderie and mission.
Yellow roses were delivered to Joanne Huskey, Founder of the Global Initiative, ILive2Lead, Path2Freedom, TAPP Naples, Golden Gate Senior Center, TAPP Immokalee and 2 Teenagers as Parents Program (TAPP) Collier and Immokalee

Area 6 Zonta Clubs will collect non perishable food and toiletries for Golden Gate Senior Center on April 23rd at the Area 6 Watch Party

Cookies for Caregivers
The Zonta Club of Naples launched another service project, in April 2021. They delivered cookies to the caregivers at the Naples Community Hospital – Downtown Campus, to let them know how much we appreciate their service and caring for our community.

The Zonta Club of Naples is proud to lend their support to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office/Naples Jail Center; thanking the officers for all that they do to keep our community safe. On Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020, members of the Zonta Club of Naples participated in a service project: Cookies for Cops. They donated all kinds of cookies, brownies, and baked goods, to the delight of the officers.
