Membership is a standing committee and is responsible for the recruitment and retention of membership. This committee establishes goals which are in accordance with the Global Membership Drive (GMD) of Zonta International. Since ZI was established in 1919 many members have joined. As a result ZI is a global organization of approximately 30,000 members. One of the main objectives of ZI is to achieve gender equality and empowerment of women worldwide.

Zonta Club of Naples Expands Membership to Include Men as Partners
The Club announced its latest member, Emerson Randolph Hall, Jr., Ph.D. who, along with his wife Dr. Freda Lewis-Hall, recently became a new resident of the Naples community.
His Ph.D. in public services as well as strong strategic planning and marketing background, past work in Human Trafficking, and anti-poverty efforts prior to coming to Naples align perfectly with the Zonta mission, said Sharon Henry-Woodby, M.D., vice president of the Zonta Club of Naples.
